Yael Spotlights
This Chanukah, as we celebrate the miracle of light and the resilience of our ancestors, we are reminded of the powerful role Jewish educators play in shaping the future. Just as the menorah’s light spreads across darkness, these leaders illuminate the path forward for Jewish education, ensuring the flame of identity and values continues to burn brightly.
To decide this year’s award recipients at the Yael International Summit, we will soon release a survey, allowing parents and school communities to determine which schools most deserve this recognition for their outstanding impact.
At the Yael Foundation, we deeply admire the dedication of every school leader and team working tirelessly to strengthen Jewish identity. Their contributions are invaluable, and we wish we could honor them all.
Wishing you a joyous and meaningful Chanukah.

Honoring excellence in education is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why, together with parents, we are selecting the nominees for the Yael Prize, to be presented at our summit this February. These awards will recognize outstanding achievements in key educational pillars. We look forward to celebrating those who represent the best in Jewish education! Uri Poliavich Honored at JPost Summit
At the Jerusalem Post Miami Summit, Chaya Yosovich, Executive Director of the Yael Foundation, accepted the “50 Most Influential Jews” award on behalf of co-founder Uri Poliavich. In her video speech, Yosovich emphasized the foundation’s mission to ensure that all Jewish children have access to high-quality education, stating, “Strengthening Jewish identity, leading change, and promoting excellence in Jewish education is at the heart of what we do.”
Supporting Today’s Leaders for Tomorrow’s Impact
Here’s what one of our Leadership Program participants had to say:
“It’s amazing to study with such professionals and receive the most up-to-date information to adapt to the rapidly changing world of education. The discussions with colleagues from around the world are priceless.”
– Rivkah Glazman, Head of School, Ohel Menachem School, Riga, Latvia
We are ensuring the excellence of schools by empowering selected principals to lead projects that drive their schools toward growth, innovation, and a higher standard of education.
School Spotlight: Kadimah School
At Kadimah School, New Zealand’s one and only Jewish school, the Year 6 Tanach Ceremony was a truly unforgettable moment as students received new Tanach books to inspire and guide their studies. We’re honored to have been part of this meaningful experience, contributing to Kadimah’s outstanding Jewish education for years to come.
